The students in Mrs. Salomon's class at Thomas Jefferson and Miss Minichello's class at Eastlake Middle got together to make girl scout popcorn!  Each student was partnered up and got a turn when working with the recipe.  Thank you to Ms. M (SLP) and Mrs. Chandar (OT) for coordinating this fun buddy group!

On Saturday, April 25th more than 120 Eastlake Middle School students committed to standing on their feet for 12 hours while learning more about autism. These students raised over $20,000 (the most money raised in EMS history!) for local autism initiatives including the Miracle League of Lake County, Heroes Helping Those With Special Needs, Share a Vision, Heart Hub Adapted Playground at Royalview Elementary, Special Sports, and the Eastlake Middle School autism units. The participating dancers also got to enjoy various activities and athletic demonstrations throughout the 12 hours. Thank you to everyone who supported our dancers, whether it was through making a donation, volunteering, or taking the time out of their busy weekends to come out and visit.

Huge congratulations to some of EMS's 7th-grade girls for completing the ROX (Ruling Our eXperiences) curriculum!

This year, they’ve worked hard on building confidence, mastering communication, and supporting one another in middle school. We are so proud of their growth and the strong voices they’ve found. Keep ruling your experiences, girls!

Eastlake Middle School 8th grade students visited MAGnet (Manufacturing And Growth Network) in Cleveland to learn about automation and robotics in manufacturing, as well as the jobs in that industry. The students had an opportunity to make an Ohio cookie cutter and the box to put it in using the manufacturing process.
